For Sale: vintage Tandem rebuilt by Steels

I have owned it since 1968. I had it rebuilt and painted completely in 1990. Only used twice since . I have been reluctant  to sell hoping family would use it. It cost £879.55 to renovate it by M Steel in Gosforth, Newcastle upon Tyne. 

Spec: Frame stripped and repainted Royal Blue , original description of work to frame plus  parts description : Wheels hubs Suzue,rims Mavic, spokes stainless13 sng, Tyres Specialised Tubes Michelin, Chainset Stonglight Crossover , Pedals Miche ,Clips Christophe, Gearing front changer Shimano Exage,rearchanger Shimano Exage, Drum Brake Arai, Brakes Shimano Deore, Levers Diacompe double cables, Saddles Rolls , Mudgards Poker Front carrier Blackburn low rider (not fitted) rear carrier Blackburn SS3, Dynamo Union.

I have receipt and original description of work carried out by Steel's.

It is in excellent condition having not really been used. Collect only from Ravenstonedale near Kirkby Stephen.I have not been able to identify frame manufacturer. The wheelbase is 65" the captain's frame to centre of cranks is 21" and the front crossbar is 29" to the ground , the seat post is up to 7" long.Rear stokers frame to centre of cranks is 20.5". seat to seat is 21.5" and seat to front handlebars is 21.5" If you need any more dimensions please ask.
