| Thameswey | Martin & Pauline on behalf of John & Pat Starting from Winneresh Garden Centre at 10:00. 20 miles, Easy . The February ride is a shortish one since the weather may not be in our favour so 15.5 miles to the pub and 3.7 miles back. I may not be able to ride due to a senior moment when stepping up onto a kerb and making a spectacle of myself so Pauline and Martin have kindly agreed to lead our planned ride. Thank you both. Meeting at the Winnersh Garden Centre 656 Reading Road Reading RG41 5HG at 10.00am for a coffee etc before a departure at 10.30am for a 15.5 mile ride with only of couple of ( Pete and Shirley's ) small undulations ! Past the Aircraft Museum , no stopping this time ! The Lunch is at The Green Man Pub in Hurst RG10 0BP now owned by Lebanese hence the selection on the menu. We are in the " Cellar " The Chef would like pre orders please by Tuesday 11th February and if you are looking at the roasts he will reduce the price from £18.50 to £15.50 which in the current climate looks very acceptable. For those looking for beer, its a Breakspear's Pub with Gravity and Hobgoblin and for Alan , Heineken Silver, Cruzcampo, Poretti and Forsters Lager. The return ride is a short 3.7 miles back to the Garden Centre.
